Yes! All products are proudly and lovingly made in the UK. This includes ALL of our ranges: bin & recycling storage, bike & scooter shelters, log & firewood storage, compost bins, garden planters, water butt planters, living wall planters, dipping tanks, wildflower products and more.
Are these planters suitable for both indoor and outdoor use?
Absolutely. With their durable build and weather-resistant finish, these planters are ideal for both indoor and outdoor environments—adding colour and style to your living spaces, balconies, courtyards or gardens.
Are these planters UK-made and ideal for commercial or educational settings?
Yes. Our planters are manufactured in the UK and built to suit a wide range of settings—from domestic homes, gardens and patios to landscaping projects, horticultural displays, schools, and commercial environments.
Are they easy to clean and maintain colour vibrancy?
Indeed. These planters are UV resistant to retain their vibrant finishes over time and are easy to keep clean—just a gentle wipe-down or rinse is enough to remove dirt, algae, or dust. Their low maintenance makes them a practical and stylish choice year-round.
Can I customise or expand my living wall over time?
Absolutely! PlantBox is modular and stackable, so you can expand your wall gradually, rearrange sections, or redesign layouts as your space evolves.
Can these planters withstand strong winds and harsh weather?
Yes—designed for all-weather resilience, our plastic planters retain their shape and finish even during windy or wet conditions. They won’t crack like ceramic alternatives or rot over time like timber planters.
How heavy are the planters, and what about ease of movement?
The planters are lightweight relative to their size. For instance, the Ashwell planter weighs around 2.3 kg, making them manageable to move while being sturdy enough to resist being knocked over.
How heavy is the PlantBox system? What is their capacity?
The fully loaded weight is 70kg per m2 (8.33 troughs).
The water capacity of each box/trough is 1.8L.
Each PlantBox holds up to 4 plants, any pot size up to 13cm (1 litre).
How long does PlantBox last, and what’s it made of?
Lifespan: Designed to endure for 10+ years with proper care.
Material: Crafted from 100% recycled British polypropylene, proudly manufactured in the UK using eco-friendly materials.
How much care does the PlantBox system need?
Our living wall thrives with simple care:
Quarterly checks to refill the water reservoir and ensure any watering accessories are functional.
Regular pruning during spring, summer, and autumn keeps foliage healthy and attractive.
Fertiliser every six months—use a liquid feed directly in the reservoir or slow-release pellets in the compost.
How much compost do I need for each PlantBox?
Each PlantBox requires 4-5L of compost. We recommend using a peat-free, multi-use compost.
Is installation difficult?
Not at all. PlantBox is designed for ease - even if you're not a DIY expert, you can install it yourself.
What are the plastic garden planters made from, and how durable are they
Our planters are crafted from high-quality MDPE (Medium Density Polyethylene)—a robust and weather-resistant plastic known for its strength and long-term performance. These planters are thicker than standard options, making them particularly tolerant of UK weather and everyday use.
What colours can I choose from?
The Ecosure plastic planters come in a delightful array of colours—including bold in-season hues like Red, Apple Green and Purple, and classic tones like Millstone and Sandstone—allowing you to create a cohesive palette or striking contrast in your garden design.
What is the delivery timeline and how is it packaged?
We aim to dispatch your PlantBox within 3–5 working days, often sooner - and you’ll receive full tracking via email or text once it’s on its way. We’re committed to sustainability: all packaging is recyclable - think 100% recycled cardboard and compostable internal bags.
What size options are available, and what styles suit different spaces?
Our collection includes a variety of shapes and sizes—from tall, slim designs like the Ashwell planter (ideal for narrow patios or compact spaces), to classic round styles like the Classic planter.
