Tired of seeing a messy pile of recycling bins / boxes?  Our Bluum 'Low & Deep' Recycling Bin / Box Store not only provides a discreet & tidy place to keep them all, but features our unique 'growing roof' planting area to add more green space to your garden. 

Available to fit 1, 2, 3 or 4 boxes - please see dimensions below.  This is the 'LOW & DEEP' design.  We also have a 'LOW & WIDE' design which can be seen here.

Also available with an open back panel (using minimal cladding), for those looking for a lower cost alternative.  This may be suitable if the 'Low & Deep' Recycling Bin / Box Store is going up against a wall or fence, for example.  

The wooden base is also optional - please select your desired choice from the drop-down options.

Materials

Robust construction, using smooth-planed, pressure treated timber, as well as exterior grade fixings and glue.

Green Roof

The roof area of the 'Low & Deep' Recycling Bin / Box Store comes fully prepared with a sealed waterproof membrane to keep the water away from the storage area, our unique drainage solution to take excess water away from the plants, another membrane to keep any substrate/soil inside the green roof area, and free capillary matting to help keep the vegetation moist and looking great.

It is well suited to many plants including sedum / succulents, alpine plants, wildflowers, grasses and herbs.

FREE DELIVERY via private courier, to ensure the greatest of care is always taken with your store.

Assembly

Assembly should take the average DIY-er less than 30 minutes, as this store comes flat-packed in easy panels. All you then need to do is add the plants of your choice, store your recycling bins / boxes and sit back to admire the view.

*Whilst the weight of your 'Low & Deep' Recycling Bin / Box Store and its contents will stop it from moving on its own, we would always recommend securing it to a wall, floor or similar solid structure, to avoid any risk of it tipping over (for example if children climb on it).

The store must be positioned on a level, solid surface.

Planting

The green roof planting area is designed to snugly fit sedum matting or vegetation of your choice.

Each item is designed and made to order, from our Bristol-based workshop. We use responsibly sourced materials, precision tools and a whole lot of time and effort to create each product.

Every piece is held together using top quality exterior fixings and glues, to ensure a long life in unpredictable weather conditions and under day-to-day use.

Free Delivery & Easy Assembly

Delivery is included for all goods, and all larger items are sent in panels via private courier to ensure the greatest care is taken with your new Bluum product.

Full instructions are included, printed in full colour with easy-to-follow steps for a stress-free experience. Assembly of our larger products should take up to 30-45 minutes, requiring common tools and no prior experience.

FAQs

Are plants included?

No plants are included with the Bluum Stores garden storage units (including the bin & recycling stores, bike storage and log storage units), however, you can use a wide selection of plants / vegetation in the living green roof planting area.

Are these made in the UK?

Yes! All products are proudly and lovingly made in the UK. This includes ALL of our ranges: bin & recycling storage, bike & scooter shelters, log & firewood storage, compost bins, garden planters, water butt planters, living wall planters, dipping tanks, wildflower products and more.

What wood is this made from?

All of the Bluum Original timber products (including bin & recycling storage, bike & scooter shelters, log stores and the beehive style compost bins and garden planters) are made with pressure treated redwood cladding.

This durable material is not only lovely to look at, it is also treated to withstand the wild variety of weather conditions that we face in the UK. It's designed for a very long life outdoors, with little maintenance.

The timber we use is also much thicker and heavier than that used by many other companies in our sector. It's not cheap, but it is made to last. It is also sourced from FSC and PEFC accredited sources.

Your bin & recycling store, bike & scooter shelter, log store, beehive style compost bin or garden planter is already treated so needs no immediate attention. In the future, it is a good idea to add a regular coat of exterior wood preservative, to help it live for even longer.
